Minnesota Job Skills Partnership Program (MJSP)
Through our Minnesota Jobs Skills Partnership program we work strategically with businesses and educational institutions to train or retrain workers, expand work opportunities, and keep high-quality jobs in the state.

Our training grants are used to offset training-related expenses incurred by business, industry and educational institutions necessary to meet current and future workforce needs.

Minnesota Renewable Energy Marketplace WIRED Grants
MNREM is leading the way in Minnesota’s renewable energy marketplace: training workers, encouraging job creation, and supporting innovations in the industry and identifying industry workforce needs. The organization has awarded $3.8 million in grants through the federally funded WIRED (Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development) initiative. Working with more than 100 industry partners, MNREM has funded projects representing many facets of the Green economy in Minnesota including biomass, biofuels, energy efficiency, ethanol, solar, wind, and the supporting industries required for renewable energy and bioscience growth.

Job Opportunity Building Zone (JOBZ) Program
Our JOBZ initiative provides local and state tax exemptions to qualified companies that expand or relocate into targeted regions outside the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
