Yellow Medicine County getting federal broadband money

(Washington D.C.) -- The Federal Communications Commission says they are providing 28-point-five million dollars in broadband funding to rural households in Minnesota. The money will go to around eight thousand homes and businesses across the state. The funding will be distributed over the next 10 years. Polk, Traverse, Blue Earth, Freeborn, Kittson, Marshall, Mower and Yellow Medicine are among the counties receiving the funding.
